Hi there!
Welcome to
planDisney. I’m so glad you popped by to ask us a question about the
Disneyland Resort. Your pixie-dusted vacation will be here faster than Tigger can bounce on over to his friend Pooh’s house!
Like you mentioned,
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is currently closed due the construction in
Critter Country. Have you heard that it will soon be known as Bayou Country instead? This newly named land will be the home to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes, and the reimagined Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree (formerly known as Hungry Bear Restaurant). The official opening date for
Tiana's Bayou Adventure and Bayou Country is set for November 15, but the Disney Parks Blog did share that
some areas may open earlier. So, there is a chance that you’ll be able to see that silly old bear Pooh and his best pals during your visit!
Please keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for possible updates and check the Hours & Events Calendar in the days leading up to your visit as updated information about the attraction may become available. I sure hope that you’ll be able to take a journey through Hundred-Acre Wood!
Have a practically perfect vacation and please don’t hesitate to
write back with any other questions you can dream of!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
