Hello there, Erin!
Welcome, and thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question about
dining at the
Disneyland Resort. As a Disney foodie myself, meal planning is one of my favorite parts of preparing for a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Guests can begin booking tables at restaurants that accept advance
dining reservations up to 60 days in advance of the date they plan to dine. Disneyland Resort dining reservations cannot currently be made for a complete length of stay, and this policy has been in place for quite some time. You may be thinking of the dining reservation process at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, which allows Disney Resort hotel Guests to book select online dining reservations for their entire stay (up to a 10-night stay) 60 days prior to their arrival date.
However, if you’re planning a multi-day stay at the Disneyland Resort in California, you will indeed need to book your table-service meals one day at a time if you wish to secure reservations right at the 60-day mark for each day of your visit. You can review the calendar date range for up to 10 consecutive days to see the reservation availability at a given restaurant so that you’ll be ready to make your plans when your 60-day window opens.
In my experience, most table-service reservations become available online at 6:00 a.m. Pacific Time. When your first booking day arrives, plan to sign into your MyDisney account on
disneyland.com or in the
Disneyland mobile app a few minutes early and be ready to search for the most popular locations on your list first, such as
Blue Bayou Restaurant (my personal favorite table-service restaurant in Disneyland Park).
However, if you’re not able to book a restaurant on your must-do list on the first try, don’t give up! Availability can and does fluctuate, so feel free to keep checking as your trip approaches. There's also the possibility of joining the
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability list when you're at the resort. This is a feature of the Disneyland app that’s available at select dining locations in the theme parks.
I hope this information helps, Erin. Please feel free to
write back with more questions as your vacation draws near!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
