Hello! My family is coming the week of Thanksgiving this year! We are doing a small Split-Stay with our DVC. Are we responsible for transferring our luggage from one hotel to the other or will Disney do that?

Hi there Beckie, welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for bringing a great question to planDisney today, I'm happy to chat about split-stays and how to make them seamless. My family loves exploring the Disney Resorts Collection hotels and we often book a split-stay so we can enjoy the dining, shopping, theming, pools, entertainment and fun by twice as much!

Beckie, I'm happy to share that Disney will remove the worry of moving your luggage to your next Disney Resorts Collection hotel. I used this service in April on my last split-stay; my daughter and I wanted to head to the theme parks first thing in the morning and didn't want to first travel to another resort to move our things. When it's time to move to your second resort and you'd like to have your luggage transported for you, head to Bell Services in the Lobby. They will ensure your luggage is tagged and it will be ready for you when you check-in at your next resort.

I hope you have a magical Thanksgiving vacation at Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other DVC or vacation planning questions, please let me know!

    Welcome Home,
    Candace
