Check in time for Hilton Head?

Hello there Mike, welcome to planDisney!  How wonderful that you're looking to explore Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort on the picturesque coast of South Carolina. If you're a beach lover, you're heading to the right place as the resort is home to 12 miles of heavenly beaches.

As a Disney Vacation Club Resort, the check-in time at Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort is 4 pm. If you're planning on arriving before then, don't worry! You can arrive at any time on the date of your reservation check-in and you can start enjoying everything the Resort has to offer. You can store your bags with Bell Services if needed and then you can get straight to exploring or relaxing. You might choose to head right to the Hilton Head Island beach and dip your toes in the Atlantic Ocean or perhaps Disney's Beach House with its heated H-shaped pool is calling your name. (It's accessible by a 1.25-mile bike path or you can hop on the shuttle that will take you right to the doors of the Beach House).

I like to check-in online via the My Disney Experience Mobile App or on the website (hover over the the My Disney Experience tab and scroll down to "My Plans". This allows you to bypass the front desk and head right to your room once you receive an email or push notification on your phone letting you know your accommodations are ready.

If hunger strikes while you're waiting for your room, head on over to Signals, a Quick Service restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat. You may even decide to take it to go and have a picnic lunch on the beach! This is where you can purchase a refillable mug that's good for your entire stay at Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort. (To note, Signals is a seasonal restaurant and is closed for the month of January as well as select dates in February).

Mike, I hope this information is helpful with your vacation planning. Please visit planDisney again if you have any other Disney Vacation Club or planning questions!

    Welcome Home,
