Hi there Laura, Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. It's great to chat with another Disney Vacation Club Member! I hope you're enjoying your DVC Membership like I have. For the past 12 years, my family has loved the flexibility to tailor a vacation to our needs. Members can not only book at a Disney Vacation Club Resort, they can exchange Vacation Points to stay at another Disney Destination across the globe or even access an Interval International exchange through an exchange of Vacation points for Reservation Points. If you're interested in where an exchange of Vacation Points for Reservation Points may take you, you'll want to look into the Interval International Hotel Exchange. To do this, log into your Disney Vacation Club account. Next, click the "Destinations" tab and select "Hotel Exchange". You'll see a blue button that says "Book with Interval online". Interval International offers the following vacation types:
To note: the Disney Vacation Club $95 nonrefundable transaction fee does not apply to Interval Vacation Exchanges and Interval ShortStay Exchanges. Rental fees (determined by length of stay, seasonal demand, unit size and resort quality) are added to Interval Getaways and Interval ShortStay Getaways. Laura, I highly recommended reaching out to Member Services as they can assist you with any questions as well as booking. It is also important to know that once Vacation Points are converted to Reservation Points, they cannot be changed back to Vacation Points. I hope this information is helpful to your vacation planning. Thanks again for visiting planDisney and please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any other questions. See ya real soon,Candace
