We will be staying at two Disney World resorts during our upcoming trip - one booked through DVC, the other not. Will Disney still transfer luggage from one resort to the next?

Hi there, Megan! Welcome to planDisney--I'm so excited you've decided to be our guest and put our service to the test. It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that I get to answer your vacation planning question today!

A split stay is a great way to experience not one, but TWO of the amazing properties at Walt Disney World Resort--totally a pro move for any Disney lover. I actually have a split stay myself scheduled for this fall starting at Disney's All-Star Music Resort, followed by a Disney Vacation Club adventure at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.  I'm happy to report that it's a breeze to navigate between your "Two Worlds"!

On the day of checkout from your first location, simply take your luggage to the Bell Services counter at the resort hotel and let them know where you will be checking in next. The Cast Members will provide you with luggage tags, and the bags will appear in your room at resort #2 later in the day like magic! Luggage sometimes doesn't arrive until early evening, so I recommend keeping any essentials with you like medication, sunscreen, and swimsuits if you're hoping to take a dip in the pool at your second destination.

Megan, I hope you're counting down the days until your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney and please don't hesitate to reach out directly if I can help with any other tips and tricks to add a little extra pixie dust to your vacation.

    Stay Magical!
