Greetings, Elliott, and welcome to planDisney! I love that you're already thinking ahead about how to pay for your
Disneyland Resort tickets. Disney Gift Cards can be a great way to budget for a vacation, so let's talk about how they work when purchasing theme park tickets.
I just tested this
on the Disneyland website, and here's what I found: Yes, you can add a Disney Gift Card as a payment method during checkout, and you should also be able to adjust the amount you'd like to apply. Any remaining balance can then be paid with a credit or debit card. Just keep in mind that only one Disney Gift Card may be used per transaction.
If you have multiple gift cards, you can manage them at
DisneyGiftCard.com. That includes the ability to consolidate funds from up to six gift cards onto a single card (up to a $1,000 maximum balance).
If you have any money left on your gift card after purchasing your ticket, make sure to bring it with you! Many retail and dining locations inside the parks accept Disney Gift Cards. Whether you're treating yourself to a favorite snack or picking up a souvenir to remember your visit, it's always fun to have a little spending money on hand.
I hope this helps as you prepare for your magical visit, Elliott! If you have any other questions, please stop by again. We're always happy to help here at
planDisney.
Your pal,
Kriss
