We have 14 day tickets in August and are trying to book our fave restaurants. Can we still book and attend a meal at MK, on a night when there is a special ticketed event (the halloween party)? Thanks

    Hello Gemma!

Thanks for popping over with another question. I’m happy to help you get some delicious plans secured ahead of your visit later this summer.

Disney Resorts Collection hotel guests can make advance dining reservations 60 days ahead of check-in for their length of admission (up to 10 days). Based on your last question, I see that you are staying off-site, and as such, you will need to reserve each day individually as you hit 60 days out. I'm not quite sure of your location, but some world travelers (like those visiting from Australia) may need to enlist the help of a travel agent to get these reservations booked if they aren't able to do so online.

While you are welcome to reserve any available dining experience you like, you will need valid admission for any meals planned within the theme parks. This includes advance dining reservations scheduled during special events like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, both held on select dates at Magic Kingdom Park. Your standard theme park tickets will grant you 14 days of admission, but they do not include entry to special ticketed events like After Hours or the Halloween or Christmas parties. You’d need to purchase standalone tickets for those experiences to enter or remain in the parks if you entered during standard hours.

Cast Members will check for event wristbands and escort guests without proper credentials toward the park exit, even if you’re holding a dining reservation during the event. If you plan to purchase tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you are more than welcome to make a dining reservation within the event hours. However, there is usually so much to do and see, I prefer to experience the festivities instead of spending a good chunk of time at a sit-down meal.

Gemma, I hope this clears up any confusion. If we can answer any additional questions, please be sure to let us know. We're always ready to assist!

Wishing you a magical (and delicious) visit,
    Amy
