Hi Gemma and welcome to planDisney! A visit to
Walt Disney World this summer is sure to be fun. We often visit in the summer to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and while the heat can be brutal at times, you can still maximize the fun so long as you stay hydrated and take those necessary breaks. Now, let’s dive into your question!
Since you do not have a Disney Resort Hotel reservation, you can only make advance dining reservations
60 days in advance for each day you plan to book a table service restaurant. Only guests with a valid Disney Resort Hotel reservation can make advance dining reservations for the entire length of the stay. Generally, dining reservations are available to book starting at 6:00AM eastern time.
If you haven’t yet downloaded the
My Disney Experience app, I highly recommend downloading it before your trip! You’ll be able to make, edit, and cancel dining reservations directly in the app. In addition, you’ll be able to make and modify
Lightning Lane Passes and
place mobile orders for quick service restaurants. Here’s a bonus tip! I recommend placing mobile orders early in the morning for days you’re certain to visit a particular quick service restaurant. This will minimize wait times for your food so you can use that time to do another ride or check out other attractions within the theme parks! You’re also able to modify your arrival time for these mobile orders.
Gemma, I hope this information is helpful for you as you plan your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World. If you have any further questions please feel free to
contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Sean
