Hi! My daughter won't be 3 till July of 2027 however we plan on going in June. Do you make exceptions for children close to the age of 3.

Hi there, Sara! Welcome to planDisney. How exciting that you’re already planning a magical visit with your little one. I completely understand wanting to make those special memories at places like Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, especially when your daughter will be so close to turning 3.

For a reservation at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, your daughter would need to be 3 years old on the day of the reservation. Unfortunately, exceptions cannot be made for Guests who are close to turning 3. The reason for this is because this experience does require a valid theme park ticket and park reservation for the child participating, so Cast Members would not be able to make an exception for children who have not yet reached the minimum age requirement.

The good news is that even at age 2, there are still so many magical experiences to enjoy at Disneyland! Since Guests under the age of 3 don’t require their own theme park ticket, this can be such a wonderful age to experience the parks together. You could add a character dining experience like Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at the Grand Californian or breakfast at Plaza Inn with Minnie Mouse and her friends. Creating sweet keepsakes is also a beautiful way to capture this special age, whether that’s a silhouette portrait or another souvenir you can treasure for years to come.

We made a silhouette portrait for my son’s first visit shortly after he turned one, and we made another one a few weeks ago now that he’s a little over 3. Let me tell you, putting these two frames side by side is such a sweet nod to his childhood and how much he’s grown.

Be sure to visit our favorite place in Toontown: Goofy’s How-To Play Yard! This is a must-do whenever we visit the parks. It’s a great way for our son to get his wiggles out and run to his heart’s content. There are so many different interactive elements that keep him wanting to come back for more. Our go-to move is to ride Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway and then head straight to the play area. I like to sneak off to Café Daisy’s for a Nitro Cold Brew Coffee while my husband chases our son down the rainbow slides!

Sara, thank you so much for visiting planDisney! Your daughter is sure to have so many magical moments during your visit, even before she’s old enough for experiences like Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. I hope you have the most wonderful time making memories together! If you have any other questions while planning your trip, planDisney is always here to help.
