Welcome to planDisney, Christhian! Your family's vacation sounds like the perfect mix of spooky fun and classic Disney magic! My twin daughters were about your daughter's age on their first Disneyland Resort visit, and some of my favorite family memories were made watching them experience attractions through wide-eyed wonder. I'd be delighted to help you plan an unforgettable three-day adventure!
One of my first recommendations is to download the
Disneyland app before you arrive. It's one of my favorite planning tools! From the map screen (tap the location pin at the bottom of the app), you can filter attractions by age, height, and even location. Since your daughter is about 43.7 inches tall, she'll be able to enjoy many family favorites while helping you quickly identify which attractions have taller height requirements. The app is also wonderful for
Mobile Food & Drink Ordering, checking wait times, finding Characters, and navigating between lands throughout the day.
Since you'll have two park days plus
Oogie Boogie Bash, I'd dedicate one full day to Disneyland Park and one to Disney California Adventure Park, then enjoy Oogie Boogie Bash as a special evening filled with exclusive Halloween entertainment, treat trails, unique Disney Villains, and immersive experiences like Villains Grove. It's one of my favorite seasonal events at the Disneyland Resort!
At Disneyland, I'd spend plenty of time in
Mickey's Toontown, where your daughter can explore Goofy's How-To-Play Yard, visit Mickey's House and Minnie's House, and ride Chip 'n' Dale's GADGETcoaster. Just around the corner, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway is a must-do attraction that the whole family will love.
Fantasyland is another can’t-miss area, with timeless attractions like Peter Pan's Flight, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, King Arthur Carrousel, and "it's a small world."
When it's time for a relaxing break, I love hopping aboard the Disneyland Railroad for a grand circle tour of the park, enjoying the tropical tunes inside Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room, or setting sail on Pirates of the Caribbean. They're wonderful opportunities to recharge before your next adventure.
Over at Disney California Adventure, be sure to explore
Cars Land (especially Mater's Junkyard Jamboree), test your teamwork on Toy Story Midway Mania!, sling webs with Spider-Man on WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, and stop by the Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! show. If your daughter enjoys meeting heroes,
Avengers Campus is also filled with exciting superhero encounters throughout the day.
Christhian, I hope these suggestions help you create a vacation filled with magical moments, giggles, and unforgettable family memories. If you think of any other questions before your visit, please stop by planDisney again. We're always happy to help!
May your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth be filled with laughter, Halloween fun, and memories your family will treasure for years to come.
