When I go to book for the world of colour dessert party it says to include everyone in my party including infants but when I go to do that there is no option for putting down 3 adults 1 child (3-9) and 1 infant (0-2) and it won't let me book it

Hi there, Breanna! Welcome to planDisney. The World of Color Dessert Party is such a fun and unique way to watch this beloved nighttime spectacular while feasting on delicious bites. I can understand the confusion when the booking process is asking you to include everyone in your party, especially when you’re trying to add an infant.

The World of Color Dessert Party works a little differently than a traditional dining reservation. While dining reservations will ask you to include all Guests in your party, including infants, the dessert party seating is set up differently. Guests ages 2 and under may attend free of charge and do not require their own seat and would sit on the lap of an adult in your party.

To proceed with your reservation, I would recommend booking for the 3 adults and 1 child (ages 3-9) and not adding the infant to the party size. Once you arrive, simply let the Cast Members know you have an infant with you, and they’ll be able to assist your party.

One thing to keep in mind is that your reservation time is for the World of Color Dessert Party experience and not the show time for World of Color. The show starts about 45 minutes after your dessert party reservation time. You’ll use mobile check-in through the Disneyland app, which will become available two hours before your reservation time.

After checking in, you’ll receive text message updates as you wait for your table to be ready. Your first message will confirm that you’ve been checked in, followed by a second message letting you know whether to use the East Entrance or West Entrance.

Once your table is ready, you’ll receive a final message inviting you to proceed to your designated entrance. Messages will continue to be sent up to 10 minutes after your reservation time, so be sure to arrive on time and speak with a Cast Member if you have not received any notifications.

Breanna, thank you so much for visiting planDisney. I hope you’re able to secure your reservation and enjoy the amazing views of World of Color with your group! If you have any other questions while planning your visit, planDisney is always here to help.
