Hi. We are considering staying at the Wyndham near Disney springs. We visited in 2021 and Disney bus service was no longer provided at the hotel so we had to walk to Saratoga springs. With the new rules are we no longer allowed to use the bus system?

    Hi Mike!

Thanks for bringing this question to planDisney!

According to the new transportation policy, in order to board the buses from Disney Springs to the Disney World resorts, you either need to be a Disney World resort guest or have a dining or Enchanting Extras reservation at the resort. This policy only affects those guests specifically going from Disney Springs to the resorts. There are currently no bus routes that run between Disney Springs and the theme parks.

As an off-property guest, you’ll still be more than welcome to use any other Disney World transportation at this time. So, for example, if you’re visiting Magic Kingdom, you can hop on the Monorail to visit the nearby resorts if you’d like!

I just peeked at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista - Disney Springs Area website, and it looks like the hotel does offer a daily shuttle service to all 4 Disney World theme parks. I recommend reaching out to the hotel to confirm this and get more details if needed.

I hope that gives you some guidance as you’re choosing accommodations for your upcoming stay! While you’re weighing your options, I recommend checking out the Special Offers page to see if there are any deals that would work for your travel dates, too. There are some good ones right now!
