I just chatted with a friendly Cast Member, and I’m happy to report that if you still have days left on your
Military Salute Ticket, you’ll be able to upgrade from the
Park Hopper to the Park Hopper Plus option, which would include water park visits.
To upgrade your ticket, you’ll need to visit
Guest Relations at one of the four
Disney World theme parks or at
Disney Springs to make the request. It’s good to note that you will need to pay the full difference in cost for your ticket when you upgrade.
This summer, both
Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon are open to enjoy as part of
Cool KIDS’ SUMMER. Once September 9, 2026, rolls around, the water parks will go back to operating on an alternating basis. Blizzard Beach will remain open, and
Typhoon Lagoon will close.
It’s also good to note that another great perk during Cool KIDS’ SUMMER is free water park tickets on your check-in date if you’re staying at a
Disney World resort! I know my family is really looking forward to that! So, if you end up not upgrading your ticket but you have a resort stay booked this summer, you can take advantage of that.
