If I can’t use my ticket for Disneyland can I use it for island Paris

    Hi there, Kim!

Thanks for bringing your question our way. We're so glad to help guests plan Disney visits by land, sea, and now internationally. Let's discuss!

I believe you are asking if theme park tickets for Disneyland Resort in California are valid for use at Disneyland Paris. While it sure would be fun if admission was interchangeable across all Disney Parks, each destination requires a dedicated ticket. You would not be able to use a Disneyland Resort ticket overseas. In fact, even tickets for Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort can't even be used interchangeably. If you are hoping to visit Disneyland Paris in the future you'll need to purchase tickets specific to your visit.

Disneyland Paris can be visited as a day trip from the center of Paris, but my family opted to book a Hotel + Ticket package for our vacation earlier this year. I shared some planning basics in this recent answer which might be helpful as you consider a future visit. My pal Lauren also discussed why staying at an on-site Disney Hotel was a great decision for her spring visit. Like Lauren, I loved the Extra Magic Time in the parks each day!

If you decide a day visit is more your cup of tea (or champagne, we're talking Paris after all) you can purchase dated or undated theme park tickets here. Dated tickets can be purchased for visits between 1 and 4 days, while undated tickets are for a single-day visit. Keep in mind that you'll need to register your visit if purchasing an undated ticket. Dated tickets for 2 days or longer automatically include access to both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. 1-Day dated or undated tickets can be purchased for a single park, or upgraded to include access to both parks for an additional fee. We enjoyed hopping between the parks on each day of our visit, especially since Walt Disney Studios Park was still in the midst of construction.

Kim, if I've misunderstood your question or you need further clarification please come back and let us know. We'll be standing by ready to assist! In the meantime, check out these planDisney tips for first-time visitors!

    Magic and memories,
