Can I bring in a Nikon D3400 camera into Disneyland?

Hiya, Mariela. Thanks for stopping by planDisney! Let's get you a picture-perfect answer before your visit.

Mariela, taking pictures of my family at Disneyland is one of my favorite things! I am happy to report that you can bring your Nikon camera to the Disneyland Resort for personal use. However, please keep in mind that unapproved commercial photography and videography are not permitted based on the Park Rules and Regulations. I also encourage you to read the Permitted Items list to be sure that any equipment (i.e. a tripod) you bring with your camera will be allowed.
One more thing: Obstructing sidewalks, entrances, driveways, and other public areas is not permitted, so please keep that in mind while you frame your shots!

My planDisney pal Al listed some of his favorite photo spots in a previous answer, and I think they are pretty awesome! I also love these locations for photos:

    • Decorative walls throughout Cars Land, including the "Here It Is" sign by the Cozy Cone Motel, the garage door on the side of Radiator Springs Curios, and the building to the right of Mater's Junkyard Jamboree.
    • The Pixar Pier carnival games make a fantastic, vintage backdrop. Arrive early to snap photos along the boardwalk.
My planDisney pal David Q. is also an accomplished photographer. Shoot him a message if you want some top tips or want to talk Disneyland photography. He is an amazing resource!

Mariela, I'm sure you will have a magical visit to The Happiest Place on Earth. If you have any other questions, please visit us again!

    See ya real soon,
    Melissa
