Hello! We are a family of six and we are visiting Disneyland resort next week. The grandmother of our party has some knee issues and we will be renting an ECV. I would like to know if she can go through the attraction queue with the ecv or get a return time

Hello, Ioannis! I am so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question. You and your family must be so excited to visit The Happiest Place on Earth next week! There is truly nothing better than a Disney trip with family, and I know you'll have a great time.

Navigating Disney California Adventure Park with an ECV should be a breeze, as all attraction lines are wheelchair accessible. However, if using an ECV at Disneyland Park, some attractions with older or original ride queues offer Location Return Times. Some of these rides include Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Indiana Jones Adventure, Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, and many of the rides in Fantasyland. For a complete list, please visit the Accessing Attraction Queue section of the Disneyland Resort website.

Ioannis, the Disneyland website says to do the following to use Location Return Time at Disneyland Park:

    1. Speak to a Cast Member at the attraction if you have concerns about the accessibility of a particular queue.
    2. A Cast Member will assist in assigning a return time that is comparable to the current standby wait and will provide directions on where to return.
    3. The Guest will return at the designated time to the auxiliary entry location.
Lastly, I want to be sure you also know that the Disneyland Mobile App offers information on accessibility throughout the resort. From the app home screen, click the pin drop icon on the bottom toolbar of the home screen - it's second from the left. This opens the Disneyland Resort map. From the map, click "Filter" in the top left. From this screen, you can view filter options for Mobility Disabilities, Physical Considerations, and more. It's a nice way to customize your park experience to fit the needs of your family!

I hope this helps in your planning, Ioannis. Please feel free to reach out again if you have any more questions!

    See you real soon,
    Melissa
