Hi Cathy,
Welcome to planDisney! I appreciate you reaching out with a question about the
Disability Access Service (DAS) at
Walt Disney World Resort. This service supports Guests with developmental disabilities who may find it challenging to wait in a traditional line for an extended time. DAS allows Guests to receive a return time for attractions, similar to the current standby wait, making the experience more manageable and enjoyable. Things work a bit differently for International Guests so let's take a look.
Unfortunately, International Guests are unable to complete a video chat to register for DAS until they have arrived in the United States. Once you've landed in the U.S.A., you can visit
this link and look for the button at the bottom of the page to begin the registration process. If you prefer assistance, you can head to any of the theme parks and visit Guest Relations. Here, a Cast Member can help you get connected to a video chat.
I hope this helps with your vacation planning, Cathy. I hope you have a wonderful Spring vacation at Disney World. Be sure to check out
EPCOT's International Flower and Garden Festival - the incredible topiaries of beloved Disney characters are a must-see and while you're there, I highly recommend tasting the offerings from the outdoor food kitchens. There's something for everyone!
Enjoy making magical memories,
Candace
