Hello there, Rebecca,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m always happy to chat with a fellow Canadian and assist with vacation planning questions for an upcoming
Disney World trip - thanks for reaching out! My family is always eager to hit the parks first thing in the morning and take advantage of the Early Theme Park Entry for Disney hotel Guests. Attraction wait times are shorter than usual so it’s a great way to check an attraction or two off our list before the theme park official opens.
My favourite part about staying at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort or Bay Lake Tower is access to the walking path to Magic Kingdom. When my daughters were younger, it was so easy to take the short walk to the theme park over collapsing the stroller and hopping on a bus or other form of Walt Disney World Transportation. Guests can follow the signs for the walkway that begins just past the hotel’s bus stops and in a few short minutes, they will find themselves at the security checkpoint for the theme park. My family takes just under 10 minutes to get from the Contemporary Resort to the turnstiles at Magic Kingdom Park. This walkway can be used right from Early Entry until the park closes - you will love the stroll!
I hope you have a fantastic Springtime visit to Disney World, Rebecca. If you’re heading to EPCOT, be sure to check out the
Flower and Garden Festival - there’s so much to enjoy from the incredible topiaries, Butterfly Garden, Food Studios and the
Garden Rocks Concert Series. If you have any other vacation planning questions, please let me know - I’d love to assist!
Happy planning,
Candace
