Hiya Judi,
Welcome back to planDisney! We are honored to be your continued destination for help planning your Walt Disney World vacations. I love having split stays when I visit. Each resort hotel is so special and unique that just one isn’t enough!
I know you spoke to Keri about
Bell Service’s ability to transfer
non-perishable grocery items between Walt Disney World Resort hotels. I’m happy to add that when you request your grocery items be transferred, you can also ask for your luggage to be transferred! The process of luggage transfer is as easy as the wave of a magic wand! First, the day before you check out of your first resort, ask a Cast Member what time your luggage will need to be at Bell Services for transfer. I missed the cut-off time once and was disappointed that I had to figure out a plan B and miss part of my park day to transfer my luggage myself. Second, on check-out day, bring your luggage (and your non-perishable grocery items in bags so they are easier to transport) to Bell Services, and they will transfer it to Bell Services at your next resort!
I hope this was helpful, Judi. Be sure to take anything you need during the day before you take your luggage to Bell Services. Luggage transfer can take a little extra time, so to be safe, keep all your essentials for the day with you. One last thing: don’t forget to take advantage of your
free water park benefit during your visit in 2025. With a split stay, you can visit the water park twice, once on each check-in day!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
