Hey there, Kevin, and welcome back to planDisney with this great question!
I'm a huge fan of split-stays when visiting Walt Disney World, and it has become something my family regularly does. We love the opportunity to check out two different resorts during our trip; it really makes it feel like we're getting two different vacations in one! Starting with the relaxed island atmosphere of
Caribbean Beach, with its beautiful beaches and laid-back vibe, and then transitioning to the stunning
Coronado Springs, with its lakeside setting and incredible dining options, is such a fun way to mix things up. Each resort offers its own unique charm and amenities, so you get to enjoy the best of both worlds!
Kevin, one of the best conveniences when doing a split stay is the seamless luggage transfer service. Disney makes it easy by acting as your own personal genie, handling the transfer of your luggage between resorts so you can focus on enjoying your vacation! You simply leave your luggage with
Bell Services at Caribbean Beach, and they'll take care of moving it over to Coronado Springs for you — no hassle, just more time to have fun!
I have to say, you've chosen two incredible resorts for your vacation. Caribbean Beach is perfectly located along the
Disney Skyliner route, which, in my opinion, is the best method of Disney transportation. As for Coronado Springs, I recently had the chance to stay there, and I was absolutely blown away by how stunning the resort is. It's truly a beautiful property! I also highly recommend making a dining reservation at
Toledo — the Filet of Beef there was exceptionally incredible.
Kevin, I'm wishing you the happiest vacation! I hope you enjoy your split stay — I have a feeling you'll be hooked once you experience it!
Magic awaits,
Kami
