    We are staying at Grand Floridian and it’s a resort studio. We will need the bed from the couch, do you know if they can put bed rails on that?

    Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with your question! Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has been our go-to Disney Resort for recent visits, and we're already counting down the days until we return this June! From the beautifully manicured grounds and the elegant Victorian atmosphere to the quick monorail ride or leisurely stroll to Magic Kingdom Park, it's easy to see why this resort is a family favorite.

    Let's talk about that cozy pull-out bed in your Resort Studio. Bed rails are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so I recommend speaking with a Cast Member at the front desk as soon as you arrive and check in to request them. If you aren't able to secure a set, I have two tried-and-true alternatives that have worked well for my family:

    1. We've used the extra pillows and blankets available in the room, rolled them up, and placed them under the sheet along the sides of the bed. This creates a soft barrier that has helped keep our little one snug and secure throughout the night.
    2. Another option is to use an online shopping service, like Amazon, to order an inexpensive set of bed rails for the duration of your stay. If you choose this route—whether for bed rails or any other must-have vacation items—be sure to address your package as follows:
    • Guest "Your Full Name" (Arriving on...)
    • Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

    • Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830-8451
