We just got back from Aulani and I loved the pillows and mattress on the king bed in the DVC 2 Bedroom Villa. Are the pillows the Sobel Westex Sahara Nights Firm or just the regular Sahara Nights pillow? Did the bed also have the Sobella pillow?

Aloha Anne-Marie and e komo mai (Hawaiian for “welcome”) to planDisney! I understand the importance of a good night’s rest because we’d all rather be looking like the peaceful Te Fiti instead of Te Ka! So let’s talk pillows and mattresses at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa.

Anne-Marie, you’re in luck! I was able to talk to a Cast Member at Aulani who provided me with details on both the pillows and the mattresses on the king beds in the Disney Vacation Club 2-bedroom villas. For the pillows, the Cast Member stated they are DOWNLITE queen size pillows, 100% polyester. She even provided a stock number for the pillow (DIS100PI0000WHI020030). I know in your question you mentioned the Sobel Westex pillows, which I know are used in other DVC Resorts, but it looks like at Aulani they use DOWNLITE pillows. As for the mattress, you’ll find a Sealy Euro Top Plush pillow top mattress. Once you grab these items, all you’ll need is a sound machine to mimic the ocean waves and you’ll be whisked back to Aulani!

Anne-Marie, mahalo for visiting planDisney. It sounds like you had quite the memorable trip and I hope you get to plan another one soon. If you have any further questions about DVC Resorts or your DVC Membership, feel free to contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!

    Your pal,
