I absolutely love that you’re hoping to have your son’s first haircut at
Harmony Barber Shop! My youngest son had his very first haircut there, too, and it’s still one of my favorite Disney memories.
While I can’t guarantee you’ll be able to snag a reservation, I do have a few suggestions. I’d recommend checking for availability each day leading up to your trip, as cancellations can happen. If you still haven’t been able to secure a reservation, I’d plan to arrive at
Magic Kingdom early on the day you’re hoping to have his haircut. In my experience, a limited number of walk-in appointments are available each day on a first-come, first-served basis. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed that everything works out and your son gets to have that special first haircut at Harmony Barber Shop!
I’d also recommend stopping by the front desk at your Disney Resort or any
Guest Relations location in the theme parks to pick up a complimentary Celebration Button for your son. A Cast Member can personalize it with “First Haircut,” or, if this will be his first visit to Walt Disney World, you could choose a “First Visit” button instead. It’s a fun little way to make the occasion even more special!
