Hi. Can a STANDARD minnie van carry two scooterbug resort lite ECV-s? Want to avoid waiting for one of the very few larger specialized minnie vans. Thanks.

    Hey there, John!

I’m thrilled to welcome you to planDisney, and I’m so glad you brought your question our way! Planning a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth is always exciting, and it sounds like you’re busy checking things off your list to make sure everything is ready for your big arrival. Sounds like a great plan!

Booking a Minnie Van is such a fun way to zip around Walt Disney World in style! It’s actually still on my never-ending Disney bucket list of things to try. Now, to answer your question!

Accessible Minnie Vans can accommodate up to seven guests, including one child seat, along with up to two wheelchairs or ECVs. Standard Minnie Vans are set up a little differently and can seat up to six guests. They have two front seats, including the driver’s seat, two captain’s chairs in the middle row, and a third-row bench that can accommodate up to three guests.

Based on the ECVs you’re referring to, it sounds like you may be able to disassemble them and fit one in the trunk, with the other taking up space in the second row. This would likely mean having some adults sit in the third row. For everyone’s comfort, I’d recommend trying to book an Accessible Minnie Van.

Of course, you also have the option of using Disney’s complimentary resort transportation. The buses, monorails, water taxis, and Disney Skyliner can all accommodate ECVs, making it easy to get around the resort.

John, I hope this helps as you continue planning your trip! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney.
