Hiya, Joxyana! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for sharing your question with us.
Your family’s first Walt Disney World trip! How exciting! You have an amazing adventure ahead of you, and I just know you’re going to make some lifelong magical memories during your visit. Let’s take a look at the ride options at the Magic Kingdom (my favorite theme park) and ensure you’re equipped with the information you need.
The
Rides & Entertainment page on the Walt Disney World website, as well as the
My Disney Experience mobile app, lists all the attractions at the Magic Kingdom and other Walt Disney World theme parks. You can choose different filters to narrow down the results to fit your family’s needs, such as height requirements, age range, interests, and ride type.
So if you’re interested in seeing which
rides might get you wet, you could select “All Filters” and choose “Water Rides” from the ride type list. Then select “Magic Kingdom Park” from the location dropdown menu to further filter the results. According to this, Casey Jr. Splash ’N’ Soak Station and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure are the only water rides at the Magic Kingdom, but I can tell you from experience that there's also a chance of getting wet on Pirates of the Caribbean and the Magic Carpets of Aladdin.
I hope this information is helpful, Joxyana. As your arrival date gets closer, don’t hesitate to come back if you have more vacation planning questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!
Magical travels!
Matt
P.S. Since you’ll be celebrating a birthday during your visit, be sure to stop by Guest Services (or the front desk of your hotel if you’re staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel) for a complimentary birthday button.
