Hi there, Christi!
I have to tell you that exploring the incredible
dining options at various
Walt Disney World Resort hotels is one of my favorite ways to experience the vibe of each of these beautiful venues. Each is unique, and we cherish our memories there.
Guests holding an
Advance Dining Reservation at a restaurant located inside a Disney Resort hotel are welcome to park without charge. Simply let the friendly Cast Member at the guard shack know that you are arriving for a reservation. They will ask for your ID and will confirm your plans before waving you through to find your spot and enjoy.
Whispering Canyon Cafe at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge is one of our favorite restaurants! Not only is it a come-as-you-are casual environment, but it also has something for everyone. From the shy to the extreme extroverts, the Cast Members taking great care of you are guaranteed to make you belly laugh. Oh! And be sure to ask for some ketchup to really enjoy your meal.
Are you interested in some authentic Italian classics?
Trattoria Al Forno will leave you feeling full and happy. Try the Tomato Bruschetta. You won't regret it! My favorite part of a meal at this beautiful spot? A walk around Disney's BoardWalk afterward to take in the sights and relax. It's a lovely way to end an evening.
As a wine educator, I can't possibly leave this list of recommendations without mentioning
Jiko-The Cooking Place at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. For your Guests who are over 21, they have quite an impressive list of South African wines that will surprise and delight. Some of my planDisney pals are big fans of the Spice Route Chakalaka, but I'd guide you to the Kanonkop Pinotage for a real treat. Of course, you can best enjoy the wine list (along with the incredible food!) if you arrange for a rideshare service like a
Minnie Van from Lyft for the evening. No parking is required!
I hope that was helpful, Christi! Enjoy your flavor-journey around Walt Disney World Resort! If you would like any other suggestions, please know that planDisney is here for you.
Adventure is out there,
Sally
