Ahoy, Selina!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm sure the excitement is building as your sail date approaches. In just a few days, you'll be on VACATION with the most magical crew on the high seas. I know you can't wait!
As a mom, I know your mind is going through everything you need to prepare for, including the
Port Adventures you have booked. Once you disembark the ship, you'll head over to Marges Barges to meet your boat captain and mate. To enjoy the ride tandem, your combined weight should not exceed 375 pounds, so the two of you are well within the range. One of my favorite Disney Cruise Line memories is parasailing with my son on
Disney Castaway Cay. I can remember the thrill we both felt that morning when we boarded the boat for our turn. I loved sharing this exhilarating adventure with him and seeing the bird's-eye views of our Disney ship and Castaway Cay. The look on his face was unforgettable, and it was such a calm feeling to be that high above one of the most magical places on earth! I hope everything about your day on Castaway Cay is memorable, Selina.
Thank you for sending in your question about your upcoming voyage. As you
pack, don't forget to have your port arrival form handy or the QR code saved to your mobile wallet. This, along with your important
travel documentation, should be in your carry-on luggage as you'll need it to check in at the cruise terminal. Your port arrival form or QR code will be scanned multiple times, including once just before boarding. If you are planning to hit the pool decks after embarking, don't forget to pack sunscreen and bathing suits in your carry-on, too!
Best wishes for a magical vacation, Selina!
