I have always loved to cruise, but when I saw the Disney Wonder in the Port of Nassau, it took my breath away. Although I was on another cruise line at the time, I quickly began snapping pictures of this magnificent ship. I knew as soon as I got home I would have to start planning my first Disney Cruise! Born and raised in a suburb of Atlanta, I love that both Walt Disney World and Port Canaveral are only a short plane or car ride away. Currently I am a stay-at-home mom, but have a background teaching grades 3-5. When I am not planning a Disney vacation, you can find me running, shopping and enjoying time with friends and family.
About My Family
My husband and I are childhood sweethearts as we actually went to the same elementary school and swam on the same neighborhood swim team! We have one ballet loving princess and one baseball loving prince. We enjoy spending time with our family especially our eight cousins who live right next door! We all love Disney and have enjoyed cruising and visiting Disney parks all together.
About My Disney Experience
I first experienced the Disney magic as a five year old, but had to wait almost 15 years to have pixie dust sprinkled my way again. But fortunately for me, one of the best things about Disney is the magic happens no matter what the age! My family has enjoyed more than 15 Disney Cruises on all four vessels, two vacations at the Disneyland Resort and numerous visits to the Walt Disney World Resort. Running magical miles is also a way I like to experience Disney so I've participated in six runDisney races including the WDW Marathon. The research and planning I have done for each one of my Disney experiences has made me a perfect fit for the planDisney Panel. I can't wait to spread my knowledge of DCL so other families will have a chance to make invaluable memories that will last them a lifetime. My most favorite DCL tip is to visit the Disney Vacation Planning Desk before disembarking and book your next cruise so you are already looking forward to your next magical voyage with Captain Mickey!
