Welcome to
planDisney, Holly! Thanks for stopping by with your question about the
My Disney Experience Mobile app. I am happy to help you with an answer so that your son can use his phone to access your plans during your visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth.
The My Disney Experience mobile app is a fantastic tool for managing all your Walt Disney World Resort plans, including
Disney Resort hotel reservations,
theme park tickets,
Lightning Lane selections,
dining reservations,
merchandise mobile checkout, and
mobile food and beverage orders. Your son will not be able to create his own Disney account until he is 13 years old, but this doesn’t mean he cannot utilize the My Disney Experience app. If you download the My Disney Experience app onto your son’s phone, you can log in using your account information. Just note that he will be able to change plans and potentially use any stored credit card information for purchases.
In the My Disney Experience app, you can use the
Disney Magic Mobile Service to send your son a digital pass to his mobile device. This will allow him to use his theme park ticket to enter the parks, link Disney PhotoPass photos, and check in at Lightning Lane or Virtual Queue entrances. He can do all of this without the My Disney Experience app. He will simply have his pass stored in his mobile wallet on his mobile device. You can read more about using the Disney Magic Mobile Service here on the
Disney Magic Mobile page.
I hope this information helps, Holly! Have a magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort. If we can answer more of your questions or if you need further assistance, please return here to planDisney. We are here for you and eager to help!
See Ya Real Soon!
