I am going to the parks with my kids, 7 & 8 years old. There are some rides they’ll ride together where I would like to sit out (I am pregnant). I want to walk them to the entrance of the rides and meet them when they exit. Is this possible?

    Hey there, hi there, Jessica!

Welcome to planDisney! And thank you for stopping by with your question for us.

Congratulations from us at planDisney! Walt Disney World Resort is an excellent place for expectant mothers; in fact, I took my babymoon to The Most Magical Place on Earth both times I was expecting.

Recently, my Mouseketeers rode the Slinky Dog Dash roller coaster in Disney's Hollywood Studios for the first time without me, and my heart burst out of pure joy that they were experiencing the magic together. It was a reminder for me to take things slow and enjoy the little things with my little guys because time flies when you’re having fun!

Jessica, I’m thrilled to tell you that you can wait in line with your Mouseketeers and exit once they’re boarding the attraction. Simply let the Cast Member attendants at the attraction know about your plan, and they’ll guide you to the exit. This is especially helpful because they’ll let you know where your little ones will be exiting from so you can meet them at the location. You may even find some of the queue details superb as you wait with your kiddos!

Luckily, you’ll be able to enjoy plenty of attractions along with your kiddos, should you choose to. I recommend consulting with your doctor first; in my experience, rides without height restrictions were the ones I enjoyed during my pregnancy. And, of course, please be sure to follow the signage guidelines at attractions to see which attractions are suitable for expectant mothers.

A gentle reminder to stay hydrated and plan breaks. Plenty of Quick-Service locations offer free ice water for Guests; all you have to do is ask. You’ll also be able to find the nearest restroom location in your My Disney Experience Mobile App. If you open the app and tap on the pin icon at the bottom of the screen, you’ll see a map. Above the map, you’ll see Wait Times with a drop-down menu. If you click on the drop-down menu, you’ll see Restrooms as one of the options.

Wishing you and your Mouseketeers an enchanting vacation, Jessica!
