Hi! Taking my 12 yo FL resident niece to Disney. Can her FL resident ticket purchased by her FL resident grandmother be added to my account? I am not a FL resident, purchasing a regular priced ticket. Thank you in advance!

    Hi Melanie!

When it comes to bringing your niece to Disney, I think you’re in for a real treat! There is so much to see and do at the Walt Disney World Resort and I think you are going to create memories that your niece will remember for a lifetime.

It's fantastic that your niece's grandmother is a Florida Resident. She should be on the lookout for Florida Resident ticket offers. Once she purchases a Theme Park Ticket for your niece, make sure to pay close attention to the offer. Special Offers often have specific details associated with the different ticket types.

As for adding the Theme Park ticket to your account, you'll want to check if your niece has a My Disney Experience account. These accounts are usually managed by guardians. Once connected, the ticket can be assigned to her for use during your magical Disney adventure.

Now, if you're not sure how to connect with her through the app, don't worry, I've got you covered. Start by looking to see if your niece is listed in your My Family & Friends List. If not, you can request to add her by entering her name and age, then send an invitation to connect via the email associated with her My Disney Experience account. If she doesn't have an account or is too young to have one, no sweat! You can still manage plans for her as a guest.

Now, onto linking the ticket – it's easier than you think! Simply log into My Disney Experience, head over to My Plans, and click on Add More Plans. Next up, hit Link Reservations and Purchases, where you'll be able to seamlessly link and assign the ticket accordingly. And if you're on the mobile app, no problem! Just open it up, tap on the three bars in the bottom right-hand corner, and then navigate to Tickets and Passes. From there, hit the plus sign and select Link Tickets and Passes.

If you’re struggling to link the tickets or get connected, don’t hesitate to stop by Guest Relations at any of the Theme Parks and they will be able to assist.

Oh, and speaking of your Disney adventure, don't forget to check out attractions that are perfect for tweens and teens! From thrilling rides like TRON Lightcycle / Run, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and even Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. So, get ready to embark on a magical Disney journey!

I hope that you have the most amazing time!
