I was wondering if there is a way to have a microwave in our room at the wilderness resort?

    Howdy Cindy!

You are about to stay at my home away from home! We are Disney Vacation Club members, and one of our homes is Copper Creek Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. We love the rustic vibe - you feel like you're in a bougie mountain resort - while simultaneously being so close to all the magic. The boat ride to Magic Kingdom is one of my favorite forms of transportation!

Cindy, depending on your accommodation at the Resort, you might already have a microwave in your room. If you are in one of the Villas (Copper Creek or Boulder Ridge), your room will have a microwave. If you stay in the regular hotel rooms, you will have a tea & coffee station and a beverage cooler (small fridge), but they do not come standard with a microwave. No worries though! Microwaves are available upon request. You can make a note on your reservation, stop by the front desk on arrival, or call (407) 934-7639 to ask. But a request is just that, and availability is based on a first-come, first-served basis.

FYI - microwaves and toasters are available for guests at the on-site Quick Service dining locations. So head down to Roaring Fork if you can't get one in your room. While you're there, grab a corn muffin - they are delicious! If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to come back. Have a magical vacation.
