Hi Katie!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney. As one of the resident physicians on the panel, I had to grab your question. Just know that Disney is committed to having a magical experience for all its guests, so let's see what we can do to ensure you do!
I double-checked
Walt Disney World Property Rules, and folding chairs are on the list of prohibited items. A pop-up stool is in the same category as a folding chair, so unfortunately, it won't make it past security at the parks. But! Let's talk about other options for you to rest during your stay.
You can rent an
ECV or
wheelchair at any of the four theme parks, water parks, and
Disney Springs. If you do that, at least you will have a way to rest whenever you need to. I suggest taking advantage of
Lightning Lane passes. These passes let you skip the standard line and join a shorter line for most park attractions. They come in single or multi-pass options, and you can choose your attractions and arrival windows 3-7 days before you arrive in the parks, so you're better able to plan your day and rest periods.
Katie, before I let you go, I wanted to let you know that
First Aid Centers are in every park and Disney Springs. Disney also partners with
AdventHealth, which offers urgent care visits, equipment delivery, prescription services, and more. So rest assured, if you need medical care during your visit, you will be well taken care of. I wish you a restful and magical vacation.
