‘Ohana to the convenience of the Monorail, there is so much to love about this resort!
Of course, you’ll want to make Disney Dining reservations! When determining your all-important 60-day mark, you will count back from your vacation check-in date. For example, if you’re checking in on Friday, October 16, 2026, your 60-day mark will be Monday, August 17, 2026. That is the day you can begin making your delicious Disney Dining reservations! You can begin making your reservations at 6:00 AM on Monday, August 17!
Steve, another great benefit of staying at the Polynesian is that it is a deluxe resort! This means that you can take advantage of the
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours benefit! This perk, reserved exclusively for Guests of deluxe resorts, allows you to remain in select theme parks, on select nights, after the theme park has closed to other Guests! It is my favorite perk of staying in a deluxe resort at Disney World! Use the link I provided to check which theme parks are participating in the benefit during your stay this coming fall! The schedule of participating parks will be updated for fall once we get closer to that season!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is held on select nights at Magic Kingdom! The party officially runs from 7:00 PM to midnight. However, Guests with tickets can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM! That is a great perk of the party ticket! I always encourage party Guests to take advantage of those extra hours! Tickets for this year’s party are not on sale yet, but will be in the next month or so. In years past, Guests with existing Disney World reservations (like you!) have had early access to purchasing party tickets! This special event at Magic Kingdom is frighteningly fun for Guests of all ages! If you go, be sure not to miss the Headless Horseman making his haunting ride through Magic Kingdom. Then, stay right where you are for Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade! For me, the Haunted Mansion gravediggers are the highlight of this spectacularly spooky parade!
