    Why does magic kingdom close on November 5th at 6pm if there’s no very merry Christmas party that night.

    Hi there, Christine! The sign of a great planner is looking ahead to see the park hours so you can plan your Disney Days!

    I just checked out the Disney Parks calendar. It reflects that Magic Kingdom Park is open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The Early Entry benefit for Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel is from 8:30 to 9:00 AM. Disney Park hours are always subject to change, but as of now, it appears that Magic Kingdom Park will be open for the regular operating hours for that time of year.

    Disney Parks do sometimes close early. The early closures are typically the result of a special ticketed event such as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Additionally, the Disney Parks will sometimes close early for events to honor Walt Disney World Resort Cast Members or if a park has been scheduled to host a private event. However, according to the Disney Parks calendar, Sunday, November 5, 2023 appears to have regular operating hours until 9:00 PM.
