Are there any wheelchair accessible golf carts available at Fort Wilderness Cabins? We are staying in a cabin and my husband has his own ECV.

    Hello Angela!

Thanks for coming back with another great question. I'm excited to help you plan for your September visit next year.

I reached out to a Cast Member who informed me that unfortunately, there aren't any golf cart rentals available that would be able to accommodate an ECV. But not to worry! I have some suggestions to help make your family's visit magical and accessible.

The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort have an internal bus system that connects the campsites and cabin loops to all the fun at Meadow, Outpost, and Settlement Depots (looking at you Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue). These buses arrive every 15-20 minutes and can typically accommodate 2 guests in ECVs. Your family can use these as you wish, but your husband is also welcome to drive his ECV around the resort.

A Cast Member at the resort's Bike Barn confirmed that you shouldn't have any issues if he would like to drive alongside your golf cart or follow behind. Just be sure to adhere to all property rules as you navigate around the resort during your stay. My fellow panelist Leslie also offered a few helpful tips to another guest regarding transportation property.

I hope this clears up any confusion, Angela. If we can answer additional questions please don't hesitate to come back and let us know. I'm wishing your family a most magical visit next year!

    Adventure is out there,
