What is the weather in late February?

    Hi Tamara!

Thanks for visiting us at planDisney!

Late February has become one of my favorite times to visit Disney World. And the weather is usually one of the reasons we love it so much.

While of course, the weather can vary, we’ve found the temperatures to usually be in the 60s-70s and comfortable for walking around the parks during the day. We usually pack layers since the mornings and evenings can get chilly. But there have definitely been times when we’re in t-shirts midday.

The pools at the Disney World resorts are heated, so even if I don’t personally feel like it’s swimming weather, my boys always make it a point to have some pool time. Coming from Ohio (right next door to you!), my boys will take any chance they can get to swim in February!

At any time of year, there’s always a chance for rain showers, so make sure to have your rain gear packed and ready to go. Better to be safe than sorry!

About a week before your trip, I’d start checking out the weather forecast to see what you can expect. Sometimes you just never know if a cold or rainy front will be coming through during the winter months, and I want you to be prepared. But I’ll keep my fingers crossed that you end up with beautiful weather!

    We’ll see you real soon!
