Hi! We have a WDW trip coming up in early 2024, and I’m hoping to buy postcards while there. I remember it was hard to find any when we visited in April 2022. Any tips on where to find them?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Darby! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney. Thanks a bunch for stopping by with your question!

I've actually been on the hunt for postcards at the Walt Disney World Resort myself, and I haven't had much luck finding them either lately. The last time I saw postcards at a merchandise location was back in December 2022, and they were located right by the cash registers in the Emporium at Magic Kingdom Park.

Darby, I just spoke with a friendly Cast Member who told me that merchandise offerings keep changing, so she suggested that you keep an eye out for postcards during your vacation. Your best bet would be to look in the big stores like the Emporium, Creations Shop at EPCOT, Island Mercantile at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Celebrity 5 & 10 at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I suggest checking by the cash registers and wherever stationery items like notebooks, pens, and pencils are sold!

If you can't find any while you're there, you could always purchase some Disney-themed postcards online. Another great option would be to purchase your postcards ahead of time and mail them right from the Theme Parks! If you decide to do this, you'll be able to purchase stamps at all four Theme Parks and Disney Springs. My favorite place to mail postcards and other letters from is the traditional mailbox right by City Hall in Magic Kingdom Park!

I hope this helps, Darby. If you have any other questions for us, please don't hesitate to come right back here so we can assist you further. Have a magical weekend, and Happy Holidays!

    Warm hugs,

    Ana Paula
