Which water park is reachable by skyline from pop century and has a lazy river ride

Hey there, Nancy! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your splash-tastic question!

It looks like your Walt Disney World vacation is right around the corner. Woo hoo! You’ll be immersed in the magic and eating all the Mickey-shaped snacks before you know it.

Walt Disney World’s two water parks—Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon—are so much fun, but neither is connected to the Skyliner system. Both water parks are reachable by complimentary bus service, which guests can board at Disney Springs and Animal Kingdom to reach the water parks. If you need directions, I’d recommend chatting with a friendly Cast Member or looking up directions in the My Disney Experience mobile app map. It makes getting around Walt Disney World so much easier!

Based on the dates you’re visiting, Blizzard Beach will be open to the public while Typhoon Lagoon is closed for refurbishment. You’ll get to enjoy Cross Country Creek, an excellent lazy river that winds through the park for almost 3,000 feet, and make sure to check out Melt-Away Bay, the 1-acre heated wave pool. And right now is a great time to visit the water parks because Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests get complimentary access on their check-in day. You better start practicing your cannonball!

Nancy, I hope this information helps you navigate your upcoming trip. If any other questions come up, come right back and ask away! Your planDisney pals are here to help!

    Magical travels!
