When does disney have the mardi gras parades? Month? Time of day?

Hiya, Lisa! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for asking us your question.

It looks like your Walt Disney World adventure is a few months away. How exciting! While few things are as fun as a trip to the Vacation Kingdom, I’ve always found that planning the trip runs a close second. The theme parks! The water parks! The resorts! The combination of fun experiences is almost endless.

Port Orleans - French Quarter and Port Orleans - Riverside are amazing resorts, and the annual Cast Member-led Mardi Gras parade really adds to the fun flavor. The 2025 parade just happened on March 4, and details haven’t been released for 2026, but historically the parade has happened around 10 A.M. on Fat Tuesday. I did a bit of digging and it looks like the next Fat Tuesday will be on February 17th, 2026. While this is what’s happened in past years, event details are always subject to change. You can always keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updated information once the Mardi Gras season gets closer.

It looks like you’ll be visiting just in time to enjoy the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. Be sure to get over to EPCOT to enjoy the topiaries and gardens, special food offerings and outdoor kitchens, and the Garden Rocks Concert Series before the festival ends on June 2, 2025.

Lisa, I hope this information helps with your upcoming trip, and any future ones in the works. If any other questions arise, don’t hesitate to come back and ask your pals at planDisney.

    Magical travels!
