Hi there Adriana! Welcome to planDisney!
A summer visit to Walt Disney World's water parks is one of the best ways to keep cool in the Florida sun!
When deciding between
Disney's Blizzard Beach and
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon for a toddler-friendly water park experience, both have fun and unique themes, but they cater to little ones in slightly different ways.
Blizzard Beach has
Tike’s Peak, which is made just for toddlers and little ones under 48 inches tall. It has mini slides, a wading pool, and snow-themed splash areas. There's plenty of shaded seating nearby so that you can relax while watching your little ones. At Typhoon Lagoon, there's
Ketchakiddee Creek which is bigger than Tike’s Peak and offers a bigger variety of slides, splash zones, and interactive water play. It has a small sandy beach area where toddlers can play and the theming is a fun shipwrecked water playground.
Both theme parks have a lazy river for your family to enjoy. Overall, Blizzard Beach might be slightly better for toddlers due to its more extensive area for them to explore, with more gentle slides and a water play features. However, Typhoon Lagoon is still a fantastic choice, especially for a beach vibe.
So no more matter which theme park is open during your visit, your family is sure to have a wonderful water-filled time! That's the beauty of Walt Disney World! Each theme park is sure to have something for everyone in the family!
