Hi Heather!
Fall at the Disneyland Resort is so much fun! A little spooky, a little sparkly, and always a party. You're going to have so much fun!
I checked the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar and it looks like your dates are currently open for reservations. So it's time to get planning! I'd be happy to walk you through the process of purchasing your tickets and making reservations all at the same time. I prefer to buy tickets on a computer, not a mobile device.
- Head over to the Tickets webpage
- Make sure "Standard Theme Park Ticket" is selected (the special offer tickets are not valid during your travel dates)
- Choose the number of days you want to spend in the parks
- Add the number of adult and child tickets that you need
- Pick your ticket type, either One Park Per Day or Park Hopper so you can bounce back and forth between the two parks
- Click "Continue"
- Reserve your ticket dates by clicking the right dates on the calendar (you can change the months by clicking the blue ">" in the top right corner of the calendar on the right)
- When you've selected all your dates click "Continue"
- Choose your park for each day of your visit (or your starting park, if you are buying Park Hopper tickets)
- Click "Continue" and then add on any extras like Disney Genie+ Service or a parking voucher
- Scroll down and click "Continue" again then follow the instructions on the screen to complete your purchase
That looks like a long process, but it's really pretty easy! You're smart to buy your tickets and make reservations early because
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is very popular and you'll get there just in time to enjoy the spookiest day of all! There will be a special after-hours event on October 31st;
Oogie Boogie Bash, A Disney Halloween Party requires a separate ticket and features all kinds of scary fun. The party takes place in Disney California Adventure Park, which means that the park will close earlier for day guests on Halloween. If you aren't going to attend the party then I highly recommend planning to be in Disneyland Park that day so that you can enjoy the evening hours in the park! If you decide to buy Park Hopper tickets then you could start your day in Disney California Adventure Park and then "hop" over to finish the day in Disneyland Park.
There's also another great celebration happening during your trip:
Plaza de la Familia brings beautiful decorations and delicious food to enjoy in the spirit of Dia de Los Muertos. I love the crafts, music, and colors that this special time brings. Nothing is better than sharing the love with our families!
I hope this information helps you purchase your tickets, Heather!
