Hiya Eddie,
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for submitting your question to us.
I’m always happy to help a fellow Texan plan a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth! Planning is half the fun of booking a trip, and I’m happy to provide information on the different areas of your upcoming visit!
When booking tickets, I recommend checking the
Theme Park Reservation Calendar first to ensure availability on the dates you wish to visit. The Disneyland Resort requires a theme park ticket and a
park reservation for park admission. I have gone ahead and waved my magic wand to verify that (as of today), there are still park reservations available for both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park (subject to change). Once you select your theme park tickets, you will be prompted to make a park reservation on the website. If you are on the Disneyland app, click the (+) in the bottom middle of the screen and select “Make a Park Reservation”, then follow the prompts for your preferred visit date.
As mentioned above, Guests can purchase
theme park tickets on the
official Disneyland website or
Disneyland app. Pricing for tickets will vary based on how many dates and whether you choose to add a
Park Hopper to your tickets. Park Hoppers allow Guests to go between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park as many times as they wish starting at 11:00 AM PST (hours subject to change) on their visit date! If you choose a standard theme park ticket, then you will only be allowed entrance to the one park you made the park reservation for.
Parking is available for theme park guests and visitors to the Downtown Disney District based on vehicle and parking (standard or preferred) with rates available on the
Disneyland Resort Parking website. Magic Key pass holders do get a
discount based on their key, but can only receive this discount by purchasing on-site and showing the Magic Key, not online.
Tip from Tiffany: Don’t forget to use the
Car Locator available in the Disneyland app. After a long day in the parks, you don’t want to wander through parking structures to find your car! This complimentary feature allows you to upload your parking information manually, so you know exactly where your car is parked. And if you have enabled location services, it can help guide you back to your car!
If you have other questions about the Disneyland Resort, remember - you’ve got a friend in me!
