I am visiting the park on November 23. I have purchased my tix. I was told I could purchase lightning passes up to 7 days in advance. However, The app says I cannot purchase the passes until november 20. Is there anyway to purchase these earlier? Thanks

Happy holidays, Anthony! I'm so thankful you stopped by planDisney before your Thanksgiving-time visit to Walt Disney World Resort. I'm no turkey—I love helping guests plan magical trips. It sounds like you're hoping to take advantage of Lightning Lane passes, so let's look at how the process will work.

Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels can purchase Lightning Lane Multi and Single passes at the seven-day mark for their stay (up to 14 days). So, if you have a qualifying hotel reservation, be sure it's linked to your account to purchase those passes now in your My Disney Experience mobile app

All other guests can purchase Lightning Lane passes three days in advance on a day-by-day basis. If you still need clarification about your eligibility window, please call the Existing Tickets line for assistance. They can see your admission type and room reservation to tell you precisely when you can book those passes. I'm sending stuffing, gravy, and pixie dust so you'll book some thrilling rides for Thanksgiving!

I visited the theme parks a few days ago, and I'm happy to report the holiday decor is in full swing. My husband and I took some breathtaking photos at night with the EPCOT Christmas tree. I hope you enjoy all the festive and bright sights while you're here!

Anthony, thanks again for coming to planDisney with your planning question. Whether you're after holly berries or cranberries (or both!) next week, I hope you gobble up some fun!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
