Will there be scooters available to rent at the start (4pm) of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party?

A very merry welcome to you, Michelle! Thank you for trusting planDisney to help with your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit. The holiday decor will WOW you; my husband and I loved seeing the twinkling lights and ginormous trees earlier this week at EPCOT. It's the most wonderful time of the year...to take photos in the theme parks! Let's talk about getting around the parks with ease so you can take it all in.

Electronic Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) are available at the Magic Kingdom Park entrance. These are rented on a first-come basis, so there's no guarantee there will be any when you arrive for the party. Since guests attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party can enter as early as 4:00 PM, you can stop by as soon as you arrive to see your options.

Guests without party tickets will exit the park around 6:00 PM, so some ECVs could be returned at that time. However, most ECVs have a battery life of about 12 hours, so the returning ones may need to be recharged. I do have another suggestion, so put on your holiday best and pour some eggnog!

ScooterBug is the Disney Featured Provider of mobility devices, so I recommend contacting them at (800) 726-8284 for information about renting an ECV for your visit. They will deliver the device to your Disney Resort hotel, and you can leave it with Bell Services when you check out. An advantage of renting from this company is you'll have the scooter to get around your resort and to and from the theme park entrances. This is the best option to guarantee you'll have an ECV for the holiday soirée!

Michelle, I'm sprinkling pixie dust and snowflakes all around in hopes you'll have a magical holiday visit. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
