Hello, AJ, I'll be your personal planning companion today! I'm so glad you found planDisney to help with your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and no visit is complete without spending time exploring our favorite characters. Your boys have excellent taste, so let's see how your family can make memories on your holiday.
Big Hero Six is one of my favorite Disney films, and Baymax is all kinds of fabulous. I met him at Disney California Adventure Park last year, and the photos still make me grin. While the big marshmallow doesn't meet guests at Walt Disney World, I recently saw a line of merchandise featuring him and other characters from the franchise. The best selection will be at
The Emporium at Magic Kingdom Park and
Creations Shop at EPCOT. Be sure to ask any Cast Member, and they'll guide you to the headbands, clothing, and even plushies featuring Baymax and Mochi.
If you're planning to spend time at Disney's Hollywood Studios, be sure to stop by
Pixar Plaza near Toy Story Land's entrance. You never know who might be there for a hug! I haven't seen Jack-Jack in person there, but keep your eyes peeled because his likeness could be hiding in plain sight! Ask the PhotoPass photographers about a Jack-Jack Magic Shot; they might have one up their sleeve! And you can surprise your boys by swinging by the Neighborhood Bakery for
Jack-Jack's Num Num Cookies.
I have good news if your kids are fans of Sully! You can often meet the big furry monster at Pixar Plaza from about 9 AM to 5 PM. Since character meeting times can vary, my tip is to stop by early in the day and check with a Cast Member about Sully's schedule. Being a monster is busy work! And I love
Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor at Magic Kingdom Park. I've never groaned and laughed at bad jokes more!
AJ, there's pixie dust around every corner at the Disney parks, so I'm wishing on the Pixar Luxo Ball that you have a fantastic time. If you're satisfied with your care, please stop by
planDisney again!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
