Where do you buy the ticket for Christmas celebration? How is that done exactly? First year i am tryin to go during Christmas

Jingle-jangle, Gisella! Welcome to planDisney, where we're already celebrating the holidays. It sounds like you're excited to visit Walt Disney World Resort at Christmastime, so let's look at how you can party under the mistletoe.

You have a couple of options for after-hours holiday parties, so let's start with the iconic soirée at Magic Kingdom Park: Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. You can read all about the offerings during this specially ticketed event on the landing page, and you'll see an option to purchase tickets once you're eligible. To see available dates and pricing, enter your party size and swipe through the calendar.

Guests who have booked a Disney Resort Hotel stay can currently buy tickets for any available event during their stay. Just be sure your resort stay is linked to your My Disney Experience account when you log in to purchase holiday party tickets. All other guests can purchase tickets beginning July 16.

The same purchasing rules apply to Disney Jollywood Nights, the other fabulous holiday event at Disney's Hollywood Studios. This after-hours gala is newer to the lineup, but it's become quite popular. Many guests enjoy dressing up in glitzy glamour to enjoy the live entertainment and other festive offerings at this event. I'm hoping to go this year and try the "glambot" video; I'm going to channel my inner 1940s movie star!

Gisella, no matter which of these enchanting events you choose, you're certain to have a holly-jolly time. As a matter of fact, I vote that you attend both; you'll be on Santa's "Nice List" for sure!

Have a magical time, and please stop by planDisney again. Happy holidays!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
