Hiya, Meagan, and thanks for this great question! You'll be arriving at
Walt Disney World Resort in a few sleeps, so I hope your Mickey Mouse suitcase is packed and waiting by the door; mine would be! Since theme park admission is a bare necessity, let's make sure your pal has theirs all neat and pretty.
If the ticket is unused, you
might be able to reassign it in your
My Disney Experience mobile app. Tap the three lines at the bottom right, and then select "My Tickets & Passes" to see the tickets you manage. Swipe to find the one you need to transfer to the new account, and if it's eligible, you'll see the "Reassign Ticket" option above the barcode.
Make sure you're
linked to the guest's new account in your Friends & Family list, and you should be able to select it to reassign the ticket.
If you don't see the option to reassign the ticket, call the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations line. Explain that the ticket was assigned to an old account, and they should be able to advise you. I'm waving my magic wand so that you have smooth sailing!
I hope your group can check out the new
Soarin' Across America attraction at EPCOT during your visit. The new version of this iconic ride highlights our magnificent country, but it's a limited-time event. I checked the calendar, and it looks like it will still be showing during your trip. Buckle up and have a nice flight.
Meagan, I hope I've guided you to a ticket solution. Please head back to
planDisney again!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
