Hello, Janice!
Welcome to planDisney. I am so glad you sent your question to us. Visiting
Disneyland Resort on Halloween will be so much fun! I bet your kids are very excited!
In the past, trick-or-treating has been limited to Guests attending
Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party. Although the Entertainment Schedule does not yet list the schedule of activities for October 31, 2024, I am doubtful that trick-or-treating will occur outside of Oogie Boogie Bash. I am sorry!
Fortunately, there is still plenty of fun to be found at Disneyland on Halloween! Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit is similar to a scavenger hunt, where participating Guests can search for special pumpkins located across Disneyland Resort. Maps can be purchased at various locations throughout Disneyland, and when completed (or not!), you can return the map to a redemption location to pick up a keepsake. Finishing the map is not required to collect your little gift, which is helpful if your kiddo gets too tired or distracted to complete the challenge. The list of locations for purchasing the maps can be found on
Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit page.
Eating treats is also a Halloween requirement in my opinion! Check out the
Disneyland Halloween Foodie Guide for a compilation of spooktacular snacks and desserts. Instead of trick-or-treating for candy, maybe your family can trick-or-treat for other sweets! Some items that I cannot wait to try include Daisy's Goody-Goody Donuts (house-made mini apple cider donuts with spiced apple sugar) at Cafe Daisy; Jack-O’-Lantern Mickey Pumpkin Macarons at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe; and Tangy Apple Mickey-shaped Beignets from the Mint Julep Bar. Everything looks delicious! You can also stop by Candy Palace to pick up some candy while strolling between treat stops! Many items listed in the Halloween Foodie Guide can be mobile ordered on the
Disneyland mobile app, making it easy to sample a lot of snacks!
Janice, I hope your family has a happy Halloween! We hope to see you real soon!
Seasons Screamings!
Jen
